The website is dedicated to teaching the Qur'aan. The aim of the
website is to present to you the classical understanding of the Qur'aan
as opposed to modern understandings being spread today. Learning and teaching the Qur'aan is the best of matters.
Narrated `Uthman:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
[Sahih Al-Bukhaari Hadith. No.5027]
The
best Tafsir of the Qur'aan is by the Qur'aan it itself. This includes
what the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) taught us
regarding the Qur'aan.
This is followed by the explanation of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them).
Finally, when nothing is found in the narrations of the Companions, one resorts to the sayings of the Taabi'oon.
The
website is not a Hadith rejector website. We have a misguided group
which says that Hadith are not to be used. If you are the follower of
the Hadith rejector sect, it is best you avoid this website and go
elsewhere to find interpretations which suit your desires, whims, and
personal agenda.
